IN SYNC Youth & Family Services is a dynamic voluntary organisation
dedicated to working with children, young people and their families in
their local communities. We are committed to their personal and social
development within their communities and the provision of quality
youth & family services through an integrated multi-disciplinary
approach in Kildare and West Wicklow.
The Naas Child and Family Project is part of IN SYNC Youth & Family
Services and is managed in partnership with the Child and Family
Agency (TUSLA). The project (NCFP) recognises that vulnerable, at-risk
children and families should be supported within their own community.
The project provides intensive therapeutic supports to local families,
has a multi-disciplinary focus, and works collaboratively with other
agencies to achieve better outcomes for parents, children and
families. This post is a temporary full-time post for 6 months.
This post is focused on assessing and supporting families on our
waiting list to ensure they get the appropriate support they require
in a timely manner. Your application must demonstrate that you have:
* a recognised third level qualification in one of the following:
Social Care; Social Work; Psychology; or other related discipline
* a minimum of 3 years? experience of working with parents,
children & families in a paid capacity.
* experience of evidence-based family assessments and a knowledge of
family systems
* experience of planning and implementing interventions/supports in
partnership with parents and children, in particular brief
interventions.
The successful candidates will be employed by IN SYNC Youth & Family
Services for a 6 month fixed-term contract, including a 3 month
probationary period. The salary for these posts is ?**Apply on the
